She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Sheffield and Evelyn McDonald Sheffield; and her son Derek Black. She is survived by: her son Forrest Black of Aberdeen; her grandchildren, Drew Black of Aberdeen and Ashlee Balos (Steve) of Fuquay-Varina; and her great grandchildren, Abel, Asher, Nathan and Lucas.
