He is survived by: his wife Reba Jane Edwards (Bowen) of Aberdeen; his children, Ken M. Edwards (Nancy) of Raleigh, NC and Connie E. Slater (Barry) of Locust, NC; his siblings, Johnny Edwards (Maxine), Jim Edwards (Yvette) of Hope Mills, NC, Minnie Terrel (Jimmy) of Portsmouth, VA and Frances Edwards of Red Springs, NC; and his grandchildren, Jen Van Kirk (Erik) of Wilmington, NC, Katie Maxey (Jake) of Raleigh, NC, Matthew Slater of Pineville, NC and Beth McCandless (Brandon) of Albemarle, NC..
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (1105 Morganton Rd, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in memory of Kenneth Edwards to Aberdeen First Baptist Church in Aberdeen.
