He was predeceased by: his mother Janice Atwell. He is survived by: his father Wilfred J. Atwell of Aberdeen; his sister Melody Atwell Nance (Steven); his niece Laura Nance Blakely (Michael); and his great-niece Claire Anne Blakley of Kernersville.
