We announce the death of Debbie Jocelyn Sharpe of Aberdeen, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 71. Debbie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Debbie will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Debbie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles M. Sharpe and Faye Friddle Sharpe; and her brother Charles Michael Sharpe. She is survived by: her siblings, Charlene Sharpe, Ricky Sharpe (Hilda) and Randy Sharpe (Debbie); and her close friends, Barbara Hein and Miki Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Ancora Compassionate Care at 2150 NC-65, Reidsville, NC 27320 or to the American Breast Cancer Foundation at 10440 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 300, Columbia, MD 21044.
