Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Pinehurst; his children, Jeffrey Brisbin Howden (Nancy) and Kimberly Louise Hodulik (Paul); his grandchildren, Frank Howden, Charles Howden, Stephen Hodulik and Sydney Hodulik; and his brothers, William Howden (Phyllis) and Lance Howden (Gale). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
