She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Henry Williams and Lily Ruth Thompson; her husband James McDonald; her grandson Wesley Morton; and her siblings, Carmen Prevatte, Jean Harrigan, Bernice Goodwin, Martha Moore, Gail Williams and Brian Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Sandi Shaver (Jason Pendly), Wendy Roark, Lisa Williams (Jack), Danny Baker, Terry Baker (Donna) and Teresa Jackson; her grandchildren, Thomas, Shannon, Ryan, Jami, Amanda, Deanna, Kris, Derrick, Melody, Ethan, Emily, Myca and Christopher; her great grandchildren, William, Daniel, Carlos Jr., Kaylee, Riley, Aubree, Payton, Gage, Kinsley and Addison; and her siblings, Ruth Carolyn Mayzik, Hazel Ann Short, Deanna Williams Johnson (Carl) and Rodney Williams (Barbara).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ashley Heights Baptist Church (10351 Aberdeen Rd, Aberdeen, NC 28315). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at the Bethesda Cemetery (1006 Bethesda Rd, Aberdeen, NC 28315).
