He is survived by: his wife Wilma Laney; his children, Joy Faulkner (Eric), Sheryl McDonald, Zolan Chapman and Lewis McDonald; his grandchildren, Christopher Mellerson, Steen Abdul Stacker, Rashawn Hooks, Deshaun Scantlebury, Isiah Laney, Lakesha Hooks and Charnell Hooks; and his sisters, Mary Frances Buchanan and Shirley Teasley (Lawrence). He is also survived by other family members, friends.
