He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Evans and Betty Evans. He is survived by: his significant other Isobel; his daughters, Mitzi Ann, Gwen Smyth (Tommy), Jacque Morris (Michael), Evey Morris and Amy Evans; his sister Christy Linthicum (David); and his grandchildren, Cody Grayson (Makayla), Logan, Elizabeth, Jaylyn Brooklyn, Nolan, Marley, Colton and Levi.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bethesda Cemetery (1006 Bethesda Rd, Aberdeen, NC 28315).
