He was predeceased by: his parents, David Pierce and Margaret Brown Pierce; and his brother David "Hawkeye" Pierce. He is survived by: his siblings, James Pierce of Dunn, Carolyn Jackson of Dunn and Barbara Pierce of Dunn; his nephew Anthony Jackson (Jaime); and his great-niece Cheyenne Jackson.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Cemetery (1000 Fairground Rd, Dunn, NC 28334).
