He is survived by: his children, Julie Bouché (Jon), Wayne Kearney, Jr. (Jennifer) and Wendy Murphrey (Britt); his grandchildren, Valerie Taylor (Alex), Elaine Kowalewski (Mark), Graham Murphrey (Megan), Emily Kearney, Walker Murphrey (Erin) and Phillip Bouché; his brother William Kearney (Bill); and his great grandchildren, Lennox Taylor, Griffin Taylor and Evelyn Kowalewski.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Aberdeen (700 N Sandhills Blvd, Aberdeen, NC 28315). A reception was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Quail Haven Retirement Village Employee Christmas Fund in his honor (155 Blake Blvd. Pinehurst, NC 28374).
