He is survived by: his wife Arlene Beamon Bunch; his siblings, Ed Bunch (Pat) of Liberty Hill, SC and Judi Thurman (Woody) of Laurel Hill, NC; his sons, Willie Bunch (Tricia) of Winston-Salem, NC and Ralph L. Bunch (Tina) of Archdale, NC; his grandsons, Evan Bunch (Marty) of Huntersville, NC and Cameron Bunch of Wilmington, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Rebert (Dusty) and Spencer Stanley of Archdale, NC; his stepchildren, Dennis Tilton of Raleigh, NC, Debra Harris (Dee) of Clemmons, NC and John Tilton (Nadine) of Winston-Salem, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Jared, Autumn, Josh, Sophie, Stacy, Madison and Camden. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kinderton Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (108 E Kinderton Way, Advance, NC 27006). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Old Hillside Cemetery (426 Hillside Cemetery, Laurinburg, NC 28352).
