She was predeceased by : her husband Carlton Eugene Murphy. She is survived by : her children, Carla and Patrick; and her siblings, Beverly Cook, Kim Pollard, Bonnie Patterson, Barbara Beasley, Billy Sauceman and Ronnie Lewis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation or Arbor Day Foundation in her memory.
