He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Shepley Brown and Bertha Miller Brown; his wife Carolyn Sue Brown; and his siblings, Brian, Robert, John, Roger and Agnes.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Brown Porter (Bob) and Robin Brown Breske (Rich); his grandchildren, Matthew and Sara Porter; and his daughters, Emma, Tate and Cale Bissell.
