He is survived by : his parents, William Marion and Linda Dene Zimmerman Pitts; his brother Brian Pitts (Colleen); his nieces, Catherine Oler (Zach) and Caitlyn Brake; his great-nephew Duke Oler; and his great-niece Callahan "Callie" Oler.
