We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2023, at the age of 70, David Richard Peters (Advance, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Richard Peters to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his father Oscar Peters; his daughter-in-law Beth Peters; and his brother Ed Peters. He is survived by : his children, Eric Peters, Steven Peters (Leslie) and Mary Beth Smith; his granddaughters, Brittany Widener and Aubree Peters; and his sisters, Carol McAllister (Norman), Elizabeth Smith (Dickie) and Frances Ellis-Harkey (Perry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
