We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Douglas Edgar Hughett (Advance, North Carolina), born in Roanoke, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Edgar Allen and Nina Ballard Hughett; his wife Cecilia Robinson Hughett; his children, Luke Hughett and Megan Hughett Russell (Darryl); his grandchildren, Cory Lawson (Rachel), Jordan Russell (Kristen), Ezekiel Russell, Hadassah Russell, Pallu Russell, Salem Russell and Willa Campbell-Hughett; his great grandchildren, Tate Lawson and Tucker Lawson; and his sister Brenda Rowland (Bob).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Redland Church (137 Baltimore Rd, Advance, NC 27006). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
