It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Faye Hoots Poindexter of Advance, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Hoots and Ila Fulk Hoots. She is survived by : her caregiver Nick Poindexter; her husband Nick; her sons, Ken Stroud and Brad Stroud; her daughter-in-law Annie Stroud; her grandchildren, Carden of Advance, Carsyn of Advance and Weston Stroud of Advance; her caregiver Gaye Hoots of Oriental; her brother Phil Hoots (Jeannie) of Fayetteville; and her nieces, Camilla Potts Leonard of New Port, NC and Kendra Smith of Advance. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Well Care Hospice, 146 Dornach Way, Bermuda Run, NC 27006 or to Advance United Methodist Church PO Box 2021, Advance, NC 27006.
