He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry James and Sybil Sutton Cashwell. He is survived by: his wife Amy W. Cashwell; his daughters, Renee C. Slate (Ricky), Camille C. Bagent (Jeff) and Lori C. McLain (Jay); his grandchildren, Drue Bagent, Loren B. Gutierrez (Daniel), Tyler Bagent (Abby Grace), Noah Darnell (Jaclyn), Leah Darnell, Katie McLain and Ian McLain; his great grandchild Dane Darnell; and his siblings, Sherrill Crotts (Mike), James Cashwell (Toni) and Craig Cashwell (DeeDee).
There are no formal services at this time, per Jerry's request, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 5171 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27612.
