We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2023, at the age of 97, John Dick Beamer (Advance, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Caleb Warren; his sisters, Gladys "Pete" Beamer, Helen Caldwell and Leana Garner; and his brothers-in-law, Sid Caldwell and Ralph Garner.

He is survived by : his wife Dean Beamer; his daughter Joni Johnson (Jim); his grandsons, Caleb and Elijah; and also, Calvin, Brenda Johnson, Steve and Cindy Huffman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Town Baptist Church, 4386 Shattalon Dr. Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
