He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Brock and Docia Ezzelle Brock; and his brothers, Richard and Edward Brock. He is survived by : his wife Judy Brock; his siblings, Frances Young, John Brock and Allen Brock (Wilma); his niece Wilma Thomas; and his close friends, Elaine Smith and Michael Smith. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia Moravian Church, 700 NC HWY 801 N. Advance, NC 27006.
