He was predeceased by : his parents, L. B. Burnette and Jean Burnette. He is survived by : his wife Virginia Davis Burnette; his daughter Elizabeth Nolan (Chad); his siblings, Marilyn McAdams (Wayne), Dillard Burnette (Debbie) and Glenda Hall (Larry); and his grandchildren, Katy Nolan and Matthew Nolan. He is also survived by six nieces and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts of remembrance may be made to the Brenner's Children's Hospital Fund or the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home/Trellis Supportive Care (Forsyth County).
