He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Walker and Richard Walker; his brothers, Roy Lee and Gurney Walker; and his sister-in-law Frances Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Walker; his daughters, Kathy Lawson (Andy) and Beth Walker; his grandchildren, Summer Hill (Trent), Sydney Jones (Ryan), Sydnye Lawson (Jonathan) and Asher Gray (Scott); his great grandchild Macie; his brother Frank Walker (Margaret); and his nephews, Gene and Steve Walker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Kinderton Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (108 E Kinderton Way, Advance, NC 27006).
