It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael John Petroccia (Advance, North Carolina), born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Theodore, Pia Petroccia, George and Gertrude Hennessy. He is survived by: his parents, John Petroccia and Mary Ann Petroccia; his sister Jacqueline Frederick (Brent); his nephew Theo "Ted" Frederick; his aunts and uncles, Vincent, Elizabeth Petroccia, Michael and Kathleen Hennessy; his friend Teresa Hutchens; and his caregiver Beth Lemly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Ronald McDonald House.
