It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nel Uittenbogaard (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Pieter Slappendel; and her brother Dirk Slappendel. She is survived by: her husband Jaap; her children, Pieter Uittenbogaard (Isabel) and Jolanda Fiedler (Martin); and her siblings, Tiny van Leeuwen, Nico Slappendel (Carla) and Piet Slappendel.
