He was predeceased by : his mother Thelma Jean Manns Byerly; and his brother Samuel Byerly. He is survived by : his wife Gale Byerly; his daughter Charity Herrmann (Michael Herrmann); his grandchildren, Elodie and Gabriella; his daughter Patience Absher (Allen Absher); his grandsons, Caleb and Seth; his son Mark Byerly (Charity Byerly); his grandsons, Ezra and Benjamin; his father Reverend John Byerly (Pat Byerly); and his siblings, Ronald Byerly (Janet), Dean Byerly (Sherry), Melita Wright, Boyd Byerly (Wanda), Nathan Byerly (Cyndee) and Sherry Byerly. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
