She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolly Mae Pardue and Albert Boyer; her grandmother Rita; and her siblings, Barry Satterfield and Vicky Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Palmer "Bobby" Smith, Sr.; her son Palmer Smith, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Olivia and Devon Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
