He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Virginius B Lougee, Jr. and Maggie Riggsbee Lougee; his wife Dorothy Leonard Lougee; his children, Carol Danforth (John) of Winston-Salem and Brent Lougee Sr. of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Ginnie Freeman (Scott) of Greenville, SC, Brent Lougee Jr. (Katy) of Stanley, NC, Carrie Schymanski (Jason) of McLean, VA, Seth Lougee of Richmond, VA and Sadie Lougee of Richmond, VA; his great grandchildren, Drew Freeman, Lilly Freeman, Luke Freeman, Ethan Lougee, Emma Lougee, Eli Lougee, Milla Schymanski and Reed Schymanski; his niece Vicki Henderson (Bill); his close friend Mary Tucker; and also, V. B. and Mary.
