With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Miller Atkins of Advance, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Wanda Miller shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wanda Miller farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy W. Miller and Daisy Plott Miller; and her husband Wade Calvin Atkins, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Wade Atkins, Jr. (Teresa) of Advance, NC, Rhonda Funderburk of Advance, NC and Tracey Knode (Don) of Marriottsville, MD. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
