She was predeceased by: her parents, John Allen Newman and Maxine Cornatzer Newman. She is survived by: her children, Tamara Levi (Jason) and Jason Lingle (Lillie); her granddaughter Emersyn Levi; and her brothers, Mark Newman (Ellen) and George Newman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt and uncle.
