He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Wyatt Vaughan and Nannie Godwin Vaughan; and his wife Beatrice Salter Vaughan. He is survived by: his friend Ed Copeland, Sr.; his sons, Quinn Vaughan (Ellen) of Harrellsville and Vince Vaughan of Ahoskie; his granddaughters, Grace Liverman (Wyatt) of Virginia Beach, VA and Abigail Vaughan of Harrellsville; and his sister Jean Wiggs of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St Thomas Episcopal Church (424 Church St, Ahoskie, NC 27910). Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Parish Hall.
