He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Daniel Lowe and Belle Chamblee Lowe; his wife Kaye White Lowe; his son Carroll Douglas Lowe, Jr.; and his siblings, Doris Humphrey, Earl, Fred, Cecil and Roy Lowe.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Brown (Randy) of Boone, NC; his daughter-in-law Sandra Lowe; his grandchildren, Derek Brown (Leslie) of Lenoir, NC and Brittany Story (Austin) of Vilas, NC; and his great grandchildren, Ryland and Hadley Brown of Lenoir, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
