Anderson; his son David Leroy Anderson, Jr. (Melissa Anderson); his grandchildren, Jessica and Adam; his children, Matthew Adam Anderson (Emily Anderson), Grace, Grant, Hannah, Carrie Jewel Rangel (Eric Rangel), Josephine Jewel and Anthony; and his siblings, Janet Hill (Ken) and Paul Anderson (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
