He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Mitchell Godwin, Sr. and Vera Harrell Godwin; and his sister Phyllis Godwin Frymier (late Gary). He is survived by : his wife Thelma Peede Godwin; his children, Audrey Leigh White of Windsor, Allison Godwin Wilson (Rick) of Dover, DE and Jeff Godwin of Clayton; his brother Paul M. Godwin, Jr. (Nancy) of Ahoskie; his grandchildren, Jessica L. White of Windsor, Cindy W. Gibbs (Bryan) of Windsor and David A. White, Jr. of Windsor; and his great grandchildren, Bryan L. Jr., Landen and Sarah Gibbs.
