He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Sterling. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thomas of Ahoskie, NC; and his children, Naomi Thomas of Ahoskie, NC, Janice Kent (Tavares) of Vero Beach, FL, Floyd Hoffman of Vero Beach, FL and Roger Stong, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ahoskie Christian Center (209 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
