We announce the death of Faye Futrell Davis in Ahoskie, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gale Borden Barnes and Jessie Tyler Barnes; and her siblings, Blannie Britton, Cecil Barnes, Millie Britton and Vivian Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Clifton Davis; her daughters, Christine "Christy" Bolton (Brian) of Washington, NC and Lisa Forbes (Tommy) of Murfreesboro, NC.; her grandchildren, Cliff Forbes (Jo Ann) of Conway, NC, Corey Forbes (Logan) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jessica Bassitt (Chris) of Washington, NC and Sara Hanks (Corey) of Kitty Hawk, NC; her great grandchildren, Polly Forbes, Sutton Forbes, Landry Bassitt, Colson Bassitt and Reef Hanks; her sister Elaine Davis of Rich Square, NC; and her pet DuDie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
