He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father James Thompson; his wife Margaret Thompson of Rockingham, NC; and his daughters, Angelina Thompson, Nikkia Thompson, Shakema Thompson of Raleigh, NC and Joy Gilcrest of Aulander, NC. He was also cherished by four siblings; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
