He was predeceased by: his father Booker T. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Williams Bynum; his stepson Ernest Jones of Winston Salem, NC; and his sister Ophelia Bynun of Asheboro, NC. He is also survived by four uncles, one aunt, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reynolds Funeral Home (321 Maple St N, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Missionary Baptist Church (309 Newsome Grove Rd, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A burial was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the same location.
