He is survived by: his wife Thelma Epps Eley of Hickory, NC; his children, Erin Alethea Eley of Greensboro, NC and Malcolm Isaiah Eley of Hickory, NC; and his siblings, James Slaughter, Larry Eley Sr., Rency Eley II, Calvin Eley, Joycelyn Eley Moses (Coley), Icy Eley Hedgepeth (Gary), Mervin Eley (Tammie) and Thennie Eley Speight (Marvin). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
