She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Aubrey Bryant and Sarah Lorene Jenkins Bryant; her husband Raleigh Joyner; her granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Peede; and her siblings, Aubrey, Pete Bryant and Billie Ruth Bryant.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph "Arlen" Peede, Jr. (Jerri) of Ahoskie and Anthony "Andy" Peede (Karen) of Ahoskie; her grandchildren, Tanya Peede Martinez, Scott Peede (Carrie), Brandon Peede (Amanda), Stephanie Peede, Jennifer Claxton (Josh), David Peede (Hanna) and Jeremy Peede; and her great grandchildren, Kristen Martinez (Nate Edwards), Alex Velasquez (Marlen), Erika Peede Kemp (Logan), Elizabeth "Lizzy" Peede of Ethan John, Wyatt Claxton, Levi Peede, Jacob Peede, Avery Peede and Roland Peede.
