He was predeceased by: his father John Roden Conner (Myrtle Burkett Conner); his wife Marilyn Rose Conner; his mother Myrtle; his son Chris Conner; and his siblings, Johnny Ray Conner, Carrol Grey Conner, Peggy and Patsy Conner.
He is survived by: his son Barry Conner (Marie) of Aulander; his grandchildren, Crystal Alfaro (Juan) of Aulander and Jeff Conner (Jessica Mobley) of Ahoskie; his great grandchildren, Anthony Alfaro of New York, Candace Alfaro of Aulander, Bryce, Briley Conner of Merry Hill, Aliyah Gunnels and Mackenna Rose Conner of Ahoskie; and his brother James Conner (Barbara) of Williamston, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
