He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Mebane McBane and Elizabeth Foust McBane; his former wife Francis Snow McBane; his son Jeremy Dale McBane; and his brothers, Gene McBane and David Foust.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Wayne McBane and Wendy Renee Tucker of Traveler's Rest; his stepdaughters, Christy Teveuphal of Granville County and Melissa Shannon of Destin, Florida; his sisters, Katie Fields of Graham and Debbie Duggins; his aunt Margaret Foster; and his former wife Ellen McBane. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
