With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence DeVore Bridgman in Alamance, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband David M. Bridgman; her parents, Florence Wright DeVore and Elbert Otis DeVore; her siblings, Dr. Elbert Otis DeVore (Eleanor), Anna Mims (Joe) and Pat Ragsdale; her great grandchild Kaleb Morgan Curtis; and her son-in-law Wayne David Shepherd, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Susan Shepherd-Allen (Joe) and David M. Bridgman, Jr.; her grandsons, Michael B. Curtis and Ryan D. Shepherd; her great grandchildren, Zyan Baswell (Meagan) and Capri Curtis; her great great grandchild Ryker Baswell; and her brother-in-law Bill Ragsdale. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
