She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Patrick Dixon and Martha Lee Albright Dixon. She is survived by: her husband Timothy "Timmy" Thompson; her daughter Brandy Christine McMillan (James); her grandsons, Cody and Jacob McMillan; her brothers, Patrick Dixon (Sandy), Jody Dixon, Steve Dixon, Michael Dixon and Robbie Dixon; and her close friends, Eddie Lewis (Vonda), Linda Terrell Rowland and Karen Terrell Beal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and other dear friends.
