Though Ralph William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ralph William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Rucker Howell and Dora Brammer Howell. He is survived by: his wife Judy Simmons Howell; his daughter Christie Howell; his grandchildren, Kelsey Toombs (Aaron) and Chloe Williams; his great grandchild Todd Toombs; and his siblings, David Howell (Mary Ann) and Elizabeth Ann Barker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
