With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Hentze (Alamance, North Carolina), who passed away on May 23, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt "Teddy" Hentze and Helen Willamina Beckmann Hentze; his son Thomas "Tom" Hentze; and his sister Helen H. Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Laureen Hammerstedt Hentze; his children, Robert "Bob" Hentze and Laureen H. Rumley (Aaron); and his grandchildren, Madison Hentze, Sarah Hentze, Cassandra Rakes, Ryan Hentze and Ally Snuggs (Mason). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
