She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde V. Ferguson and Jessie Cheek Ferguson; her husband L. Wayne Lindley; her son John W. Lindley; her granddaughter Amy Lindley Wallace; her foster son Paul "Hank" Smith; her daughter-in-law Jane Ingle Smith; and her sister Vestal Ferguson Clifton.
She is survived by: her foster son John Willardson (Ann) of Wilkesboro, NC; her grandson Drew Willardson of Wilkesboro; her daughter-in-law Trish Lindley of Graham; her grandson Mark Lindley (Carrie) of Mechanicsville, VA; her daughter-in-law Dianne Cobb Smith of Mebane; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith Klutts (Gary) of Browns Summit and Matthew Smith (Katherine) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5043 Mt. Olive Church Rd., Pittsboro, NC 27312 or to another charity of the donor's choice.
