It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Furr Burnett of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Furr and Hazel Furr; and her brother Eddie Ray Furr. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Burnett; her children, Jann Mills (Randy) of Oakboro, Sherrie Harrington (David) of Albemarle and Wesley Cates (Dena) of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Dana Parah, Grant Harrington and Michaela Zepeda (Levin); and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Isabella, Julian, Greyson, Annalaya and Ayden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
