With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beatrice Drye Goodman (Albemarle, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Beatrice Drye Goodman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Drye and Lena Drye; and her husband Jack Goodman. She is survived by: her children, Renee Watkins (Bobby), Brian Goodman (Betty), Carol Kiker and Kim Goodman; her grandchildren, Joseph Watkins (Staci), Jenny Mabry (Stuart), Ashlea Mooney (Jordan), Christopher Kiker and Denise Trevino; her great grandchildren, Jax, Essa, Iris, Miles, Kayla, Elijah, Julianna, Kray and Kailey; and her great great grandchild Savannah. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Oakboro (322 N Main St, Oakboro, NC 28129).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Oakboro, 322 N Main St./PO Box 10, Oakboro, NC 28129.
