She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Morton and Annette Kimrey Morton; and her husbands, James Dennis and Everette Ingram. She is survived by: her children, David Dennis (Jeanne) and Catherine Townsend (Bill); her grandchildren, Lisa Ward (Tracy) and John Wayne Hardison; her great grandchildren, Dylan Ward, Haley Ward, Ian Hardison and Molly Hardison; and her sisters, Betty Morgan, Ethel Trull, Tinnie Cowles and Vickie Almond. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Porter Baptist Church Cemetery (16562 U. S. 52 Hwy S, Albemarle, NC 28001).
