It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Ray Mesimer of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bobby may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Mesimer and Sadie Mesimer; and his wife Loretha Mesimer. He is survived by: his children, Wanda Mesimer of Albemarle, Ray Mesimer of Norwood, Bobbie Hatley of Albemarle and Michael Mesimer of Norwood; his grandchildren, Carrie Hatley, Taylor Burleson (Sean) and Leeann Mesimer; and his great grandchildren, Naylen Hetland, June Lee Burleson and Indy Mae Burleson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
